Deployment
Deployment Overview: The overall architecture of EAZStor consists of Super Node + Data Node + User Node + S3 + MongoDB + Relay Server (optional).
Regular users only need to install Data Node (to contribute storage space to EAZStor network) and User Node (to use storage space provided by EAZStor network); the other components do not need to be installed.
If you do not want to provide storage to EAZStor and only want to use it, then you only need to install User Node —there is no need to install Data Node either.
Super Node Deployment: Super Node listens on port 9999 by default for client gRPC requests (this requires port mapping or establishing a connection via a relay server). The web interface runs on port 8082.

Super Node is usually managed by the administrators, ordinary users do not need to worry about it.
Data Node Deployment: Data Node listens on port 9001 by default for client gRPC requests (this requires port mapping or establishing a connection via a relay server). The web interface runs on port 9002.

1. Run Eazstor-setup.exe to install the Data Node.
2. Start the Data Node service from programs menu Eazstor → Start Data Node.
3. Initialization and registration the data node from program menu eazstor → Data Node Management (a shortcut to http://127.0.0.1:9002), and follow the on-screen instructions to initialize and register the data node in EAZStor network.
During the registration of the Data Node, you need to provide the identification of the Super Node. There are two ways to configure this: through the web interface or by directly editing the configuration file.
1. Configure via the web interface: Click “Settings” in the left-hand menu, then modify Super Node ID and Addr on the settings page on the right.
2. Configure via the configuration file: Directly edit the SNList information in snlist.json, where ID is the LongId generated during Super Node initialization and stored in server.conf, and Addrs is the Super Node’s address (in libp2p network address format).
Note: if the Data Node and Super Node are on the same machine, you can use the IP address 127.0.0.1.
User Node Deployment:
1. Run eazstor-setup.exe to install the User Node.
The current release of User Node only supports Amazon S3 storage protocol. The S3 protocol uses port 8083, and the User Node web interface uses port 8080.
2. Start the S3 backend service. There are two ways to start it: From programs menu Eazstor → Start usernode (http) Use the menu Eazstor → Start usernode (https)
Note: Enabling HTTPS access requires certificate configuration.
There are two ways to connect an User Node to a Super Node:
1. Via the web interface: From programs menu Eazstor → EAZStor management, fill in the Super Node information on the connection page that appears.
2. Via the configuration file: Same as the Data Node configuration—specify the Super Node in snlist.json. Refer to the instructions in the Data Node section.
Create a user and log in
From programs menu Eazstor → EAZStor management. If the system is already connected to the Super Node, a login page will appear (note: if it is not connected, a connection page will appear instead of the login page). Choose to register a new user or log in.
After log into the system. In Personal Information, you can view the key pair: accesskey and secretkey (for example, secretkey: 5JG4LTzSCDMbEj6P19vczNUm7gGE6sgCYajF5UBDAXiv5GwkU4x, accesskey: 8migJRkmEihq5XKJByDzpYfW8XFpasYgGQisQzZCLTLGDrSTDq). These keys will be used in the S3 configuration later.
Note: It is strongly recommended that users record the secretkey, so it can be used to rebuild user information if it is lost in the future.
